RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE!

Civil Unrest Brewing in the US: Occupy Wall Street Protests in New York City

If corporate news (i.e. the major networks) is your main source of information, you probably have heard little about this, but the protests against capitalism-gone-awry in New York City are a big deal, and very meaningful.

If you can attend the protests, please do. You can also support the cause by checking out the website.

Change happens on many fronts. Political demonstrations still have an impact- but we must stay with it. Be part of it.

Student Debt Emergency will be heading to NYC for Occupy Wall Street and to DC (for the protests planned there beginning October 6th).

What do you plan to do?

OH NO SHE DIDN'T...

WHAT A LOAD OF HORSESHIT!

The propaganda machine continues to churn out these ridiculous, and dangerous gems. The selling and marketing of education has been as much a part of the student debt crisis as the lending corruption, theft, and federal financing of loans- which led to extortionate tuition increases.

Perhaps this corporate robot-woman really does skip and whistle with glee on the way to her office cubicle each morning. Maybe she is just another sociopath- shamelessly promoting a scam of epic proportions. Either way, there is something really revolting about the message and marketing strategy here. Disgusting.

STUDENT DEBT RELIEF. NOW!

While allowing the discharge of student debt in bankruptcy won't fix a broken, for-profit educational system- it could help a lot of people who were financially ruined by pursuing higher education.  Further, by putting some risk in student lending, the unethical free-for-all that the lender pigs have exploited so severely would begin to change.

Check out this Facebook page and follow their simple steps to demand changes to the bankruptcy code, so student loans could be discharged.

Hey, if Donald Trump can file for bankruptcy...
